Founder and Artistic Director
An artists' organisation addressing the gaps that geopolitical borders make across Africa — and the ground beneath four bodies of photographic work.
Founded in 2009, Invisible Borders is an artists' organisation that addresses the gaps geopolitical borders make across Africa. Its road trips are not expeditions but working conditions: the ground on which several bodies of photographic work, an essay and a public talk were made.

Work
The third Invisible Borders road trip: over 45 days in November and December 2011, seven photographers and writers from Nigeria, Ghana and Sudan travelled roughly 12,000 kilometres from Lagos to Addis Ababa, through Abuja, Jos, Maiduguri, N’Djamena and Khartoum. The film follows the journey through the experiences, images, texts, encounters and exchanges of its participants.
